Former Olympic champion Liu Xiang is on the verge of returning to China to resume training following Achilles’ tendon surgery two months ago in Houston.
I always thought Liu Xiang was over-hyped but I also didn’t hope that he would fallout like he did in Beijing. I’m still not convinced he was/is all that but he does get my sympathy vote for a successful return.
I first read your postings before the Olympics, and found it very thought provoking. Liu Xiang had the pressure of BILLIONS on his fronta lobe, son. . I believe that he deserves respect, not a sympathy vote. Just like my President Barack Obama, Liu turned heads, and that is ALWAYS a good thing. Can you dig it ?
