The National Basketball Association has partnered with two Chinese companies, the China Mengniu Dairy Co. and provincial broadcaster Shandong Satellite TV, to create the basketball league’s first reality show.

I hate all reality shows, period.¹ So imagine my surprise to stumble upon the NBA’s attempt to cash in on the Worldwide reality show trend. While the specifics of the show seem as cheesy as most reality schemes, I will give it a look should it ever come across my TV screen. (Hat-tip to .LAG for the pointer.)
