I was just having a conversation with a Chinese friend (on this Sunday) about churches in China. We were trying to see if there are any pictures available of the little Protestant Church in Dalian right off of Zhongshan Square when I came upon this interesting list put out by the People’s Daily. Other than the ones in Tibet and Guangzhou, I’ve been to them all. I think the most impressive of the ones I’ve seen is Saint Sophia Church in Harbin. As a funny end-note to this story was my friend saying, “if you’ve seen 7 out of the 10, you’ve been in China too long!” (hat tip to Dan over at China Law Blog for pointing me to the list).
