Chinese automaker Nanjing Automobile Group — which took over Britain’s MG after its collapse in 2005 — plans to build a factory in Ardmore, Oklahoma to builds the next-generation TF coupe, the company announced today.

Whoa! “China Corporate” as the saviour of a legendary British brand and the catalyst for Midwest American jobs…now that is something I would never have expected. But I must say…it does say something about the maturity and acumen (read: keep the locals happy while reaping the monetary benefits) of Chinese–at least those at Nanjing Automobile Group–businessmen/women.
