Fighting the Good Fight

Here’s to the crazy ones, the rebels, the troublemakers. The ones who see things differently. While some may see them as the crazy ones, the rest can see genius, because the people who are crazy enough to change the world are the ones who do.

Anyone who has spent some time in China knows that, the general Chinese attitude is to avoid any risks. Indeed, unlike in the US there are very few icons of rugged individualism or ragers against authority. And that is why it always comes as a surprise when you meet or hear of those few that have made a stand against the powers that be because you know that their choice to do so was not made easily and has most certainly been painful for them. Accordingly, I raise my voice to three such individuals whose stories I recently ran across, that fit the bill:
