Yi Jianlian’s Chinese agent says he’s talking to other teams about a possible trade away from Milwaukee.

After talking my boy up in a post a couple of weeks back…I’m sad to see politics, money and ignorance get in the way of a great athlete and serious good will. To play in the NBA is unthinkable to most human beings and to be drafted in the top 5 provides you with the keys to the golden vault. If his advisers understood sports, they would understand that as of now Yi is untested and so not many are willing to take to the chance…and so if he plays in Milwaukee he will be under the radar and can get a couple of years to learn the system and get his hops on. Down the line…if he proves himself as a baller, he can go free agent on them and reap A-Rod type bank. That is how the game is played here. But if he (and more importantly his advisers) don’t figure this out quick, Yi will be seen as a whiner and if he doesn’t turn out to be all that…he’ll be seen as a punk too. Word of advise to the advisers…get in touch with Yao Ming’s entourage and study their lessons. Time to recognize!
