Over furious objections from China, Congress bestowed its highest civilian honor today on the Dalai Lama, the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader whom Beijing considers a troublesome voice of separatism.

I’m not one to give props to the current Bush regime but I have to give them here for his and Congress’ stand not to back down to pressure from China. Good on you and good on the forces of peace
